Life in secondary school is as easy as drinking a cooled cup of milo, or is it? Let's us find out as I tell you my first week at secondary school.
Monday mornings were always fresh- at least that is what I thought, as it was the start of a new week. BUT, something went terribly wrong...... I was late for school on the first day! As a dire consequence of my careless time management, I got to sit down miserably on the stone steps while the rest of the 'Early Birds' were having their enrolment ceremony.
During form-teacher-meeting-time, I was quite disoriented as my form teacher spoke chinese! I mean, its not like I detest chinese but form teachers report more important news and sometimes i won't be able to understand him. As I had no choice, I decided that this will be an advantage and it is for my own good. But the worst was saved for the last......
During break time, I was queing up patiently for my food. Thats seems quite normal isn't it? However out of the blue, a 'big guy' with a bowl of noodles slammed into me while walking. 'Bang' umm...... I think I am overreacting , it was sort of like a 'lame bang'. Regardless, I still got myself dirtied and that 'big guy' just apologized briefly and 'sauntered away' as if he intended to do that.
Ahh, can things get any worse? I thought to myself after that day's ordeal.Of course, that isn't the end of it but that's another story.Who knows? Maybe after all hardship will turn to hope......
